Christophe Lacroix
Qualifications: National Diploma Level 1 obtained in 1990
Born in 1967
He was trained by Mr Jean BERTHET, an eminent golf teacher in Evian for many years, who took Christophe and other players such as Frédéric REGARD (French n° 1) to the top international level.
In 1986, he finished joint 1st in the “Access Card” event for the French Professional Tour and became a professional player at the age of 19.
Between 1987 and 1995, Christophe was regularly ranked among the 40 top French players. In 1991, he finished 14th in the national rankings and 46th in the Challenge Tour (2nd European division).
In 1995, Christophe became a golf instructor at Prunevelle golf course.
Under his responsibility, the golf school became ranked among the best in France and he enabled the men’s team to reach the 1st division of the French championship.
In January 2005, he was offered the position of Director of Prunevelle Golf Club, which he occupied until the end of the 2008 season.
In 2009, Christophe joined the team of instructors at the Evian Masters Training Center.
He is the Sports Manager at the Evian Masters Training School, which welcomes around 150 children.
Making use of his background as a professional player, in contact with distinguished instructors such as John JACOBS, Michel DAMIANO, Jean-Etienne LAFITTE and François BERTHET, his passion for the game and experience gained over many years, Christophe proposes tuition that is adapted to your level of play and your goals, to give you in-depth insight and understanding of your game.
Amateur achievements
- Selected for the French Junior Team for the European Championship in 1984
- Selected for the « ORANGE BOWL » International Juniors Championship (the unofficial World Championship for under 18’s) in Florida – Ranking: 14th place.
- Selected for the French Junior Team for the European Championship in 1985 (European Vice-champion with Thomas LEVET, Patrice BARQUEZ, Eric GIRAUD and Romain VICTOR).
